Easter Break
Our office will be closed on Friday 10th April 2009 and Monday 13th April 2009 for the Easter Bank Holiday. To ensure that we can pay you on time over this period it is important that we have your work details (hours and rates) from either you or your agency/company by the dates stated below:
• For hours worked week-ending the 3rd April 2009 – information must be with us by Tuesday 7th April 2009 - payments will then be made by same day transfer into your bank account on Thursday 9th April 2009.
• For hours worked week-ending the 10th April 2009 – information must be with us by Wednesday 15th April – payments will then be made be same day transfer into your bank account on Friday 17th April 2009.
Payments can only be made if we have received suficient information from you or your agency/company
Recommend a Friend - reminder
Hopefully you are aware of our current promotion which puts more money in your pocket when you introduce your friends to us - you and your friend will receive £50.00 after their 8th payment is made to them through Gabem.
It's simple, just pass them our details and make sure they include your Gabem reference on the application form. After your friend has been paid through Gabem eight times (eight week-endings paid) you will both receive £50. Your friend will receive their £50 in their 9th payment, and you will receive yours in your next payment through Gabem. The more friends you recommend the more £50.00's you will receive. Payments are subject to tax and NI.
End of year Documents
As we are coming up to the end of the financial year, it is a requirement for you to receive your end of year documents. Please note we can not process them until after the end of this financial year, 5th April 2009. You need to receive your P60 by the 31st May 2009 and your P11D by 6th July 2009. We will ensure that you receive these documents by the required dates.
Umbrella Company Expenses:
Finally, a reminder that any expenses incurred for this financial year (up to Sunday 5th April) need to be with us during the week of 6th April to enable us to reimburse them to you in your next payment. As Friday 10th April is a Bank Holiday you must submit your claim by Wednesday 8th April to ensure payment on Thursday 9th April (if you are weekly paid). Please note that we are unable to carry expenses over to the new financial year so it is very important that you get them to us in time, or you will lose the benefit.
CIS and Self-Employed Expenses:
We are offering a new service for self employed operatives. If you dread the time when your tax return is due and groan at the shoe box stuffed full of receipts, don't panic. We can take all the grind away from you with our new service – Expense Box. All you need to do is send us your receipts at a time that suits you in reply paid envelopes that we provide and we do the rest. We scan and catalogue all your receipts and send you a report when you need to submit your tax return. It couldn't be easier, and all at a small charge of £10.00 + VAT per month for up to 80 items per month. Additional items are charged at 20p each.
At the moment we have a special discounted offer for you: if you send in 2008/2009 receipts, we will do all the hard work, by scanning and catalogue all your receipts and send you a report for just £80.00 + VAT, Now that's a offer not to be turned down.
