Gabem Management Limited is one of the most established and reputable providers of payroll solutions to temporary workers in the market today. Being launched simply as Gabem Group in the late 90's Gabem was one of the first to offer composite company solutions to the temporary market, following in the next 5 years with Single Person Companies, umbrella companies and self employed payroll products.

Gabem experienced huge growth in the early years with their product always increasing the take-home pay of a temporary worker using recruitment agencies or contracting directly to clients on short term assignments but it has been Gabem's customer service that has been the defining factor over the years. Gabem is a name of quality and care, every employee that works in the Head Office based in the beautiful South Downs in West Sussex believes in the core values of the company which are to be efficient, friendly and recommendable by each and every client that we come into contact with.

The umbrella product that we now offer due to budget changes in 2007 is extremely popular with those temporary workers that cannot legitimately be self-employed because of the type of contracts they work on and perhaps is even more popular with those freelance contractors who don't want to have the hassle of doing self-assessment tax returns at the end of each year. Taking care of contractual arrangements, PAYE tax, NI, legitimate business expenses and all HMRC correspondence Gabem's umbrella product is safe, compliant and simple. On top of this Gabem always use free text messages to keep our clients informed of what is going on with their pay and the staff have no hesitation in calling people back at any time that suits them.

The people who work at Gabem enjoy their jobs and feel committed to helping and serving their clients, either through the accurate and speedy sending of invoices, the chasing and collecting of monies owed or patiently taking someone through their very first payslip and explaining the additions and deductions to them in language that they understand.

Payments are usually made every Friday by same day CHAPS transfer and this is a free service which we are happy to provide. An automatic text message is sent when their money has left us and is on its way to your bank or building society. This text message service is one of the most popular innovations we launched several years ago – the ringtone you set for this important incoming message just makes that Friday seem a lot brighter when you hear it!

Our self-employed products are split between those who are registered for CIS (CIS) and those not (Solo). For those temps who do work in the Construction Industry we help out by ensuring the correct CIS tax is deducted and sent to HMRC. Working outside of Construction we offer a contracting service, invoicing service and money transfer service for anyone who can readily prove they are acting in a self-employed way.

Currently we have a brilliant offer whereby a new joiner – wishing to use either of our three payroll products – can receive £50 after just 8 payments and, if they recommend a friend they will receive another £50 once their friend has received their first 8 payments. This offer is particularly attractive as the more people that hook each other up to Gabem the more income they generate for themselves, very little work for a nice bonus!

Most important to us though is that we take our responsibility to our clients extremely seriously, are regularly asking HMRC to visit us to see our working practices and NEVER go ahead with a new implementation to do with Tax or NI before seeking approval and guidance.
